William Green was born in 1818 in Indiana. He died on 17 Oct 1897 in Davenport, Scott, Iowa. When he was 23, he married Mary Ann Ransom,daughter of John Ransom and Annie Noble, on 25 Jul 1841 in Schuyler County Illinois, USA.

3. John T. Green was born on 07 Aug 1847. He died on 07 Mar 1926.
4. George Adams Green was born on 25 Oct 1849 in Brown, Co., Illinois. He died on 19 Aug 1932 in Davenport, Iowa. He married Sarah Elizabeth Gifford on 16 Jul 1874 in Brown County ILlinois. He married Ludusca Earl on 30 Sep 1880 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa, USA.
5. Eleanor (Nellie) Green was born in 1852 in Brown County IL.. She married Seth Maranville abt 1870. She died in Sep 1887.
