Kate - I now know how I know you and who you are! You are 'Kathleen'! We had a picnic at Shute Park in Hillsboro many, many years ago. I think you guys were on your way to the Philipines, or had just gotten back. I can't remember that part of it. We played tag aound bushes and rocks there at that park in Hillsboro. I remember it as being "summer-ish". It was a nice day anyway. That was a long, long time ago. : )

    Yes, I remember that! It was 1960; I was six years old and we were traveling through the U.S. east to west on our way back to Japan, then Hong Kong then the Philippines. Everyone was so nice to me. What a great memory!

    Being born in 1954, I was 6 also. But I distinctly remember one thing...that was the point where I was starting to realize that girls don't have "cooties". (OK, so I started early!) I do remember that I thought you were so-oo cute. Isn't it funny what we remember?
